Stars

Sunday night I went to take the dogs out. I looked up at the dark sky and saw all the stars and was thinking. I am so lucky to live in this Country and in this place. I looked down the street and heard the wind blowing through the trees. What I didn't hear was yelling, cars honking, people, and noise. I just heard earth and nature. When I looked into the sky, I saw STARS, bright and beautiful STARS. I didn't see smog, polution, you get my point right?!?! I thought how lucky I am to live here, where I am. I was also thinking about Memorial Day and all of those who went before us. How they paved the way for us to live here in this beautiful Country. I am really lucky to have such a great life and family. They are always there to help and support me. I was happy to enjoy such a beautiful day, because on Monday, it rainned :P

National Scrapbook Day

Today was national Scrapbook day and I deceided to go with a friend to the Torrington Office Supply (aka the only place to buy scrapbook stuff in town) for their scrap-a -thon. It was so much fun to get to know more of the people here in town. I also finished 6 pages..... (I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but it took a while to get things organized.) The kids stayed home with Tommy and they raked and planted the back yard with grass. I guess they had a good time, not so sure about Tom though :P He is a good sport. But my hands and back hurt so I'm going to bed....
My mom said I don't update this thing very often, so I have been trying to be better.

Snow? In MAY?

My Mom hasn't see picts of our newest member so I decieded to post them here. Titan is a sweet dog and he and Chloe get along great....... just as Chloe gets her way. He is quite tall next to Chloe, but we like him and he is a cutie.

Julia got bored and decieded to have a ball.... She invited all of her imagionary friends and had a blast.

Yes it is May 2, 2008 and there is a blizzard going on outside. My poor hubby got stuck up in Lusk, an hour away, and is unable to get home. Thankfully, I was able to find him a hotel for $35 which was cheep. He was offered to stay at one of his co-workers houses, but graciously declined. (He wasn't about to walk around in his underwear there and well, his uniform isn't that comfy) Poor guy won't be home tonight because of the storm. But hay maybe me and the girls will have a fun movie night or something with hot cocoa and popcorn. They always love that.

Cheyenne

Origionally Written 4-21-08

My hubby and I went to Cheyenne today and I really enjoyed the scenery. I saw a bunch of Cows with their baby calf's just roaming in the field. It was beautiful to see them enjoying the sun and just being cows. It was warm today, I say that in a Wyoming since, because it was about 62 F. Normally in Cali, I would have been bundled up in a jacket and sweater at that type of weather. But I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and it was very nice to be outside and enjoying the sunshine. Today would be the perfect day to go to the tide pools if I were home in Cali, but no we spent the day in Cheyenne. It was nice to go to a "big" city...... hehe my friends in Cali will laugh at that one, Cheyenne is no comparison to San Diego....... One other thing that I saw that amused me were trees. They looked to me like Douglas Furs (Christmas Trees) they would be on the side of the "freeway" between 2-4 rows thick and about (I don't know) 40 trees long. They would be every 2-10 miles apart or so. There were little ones and big ones. I don't know why they are planted there but it was pretty neat to see that. OH, and we found a Wendy's YEAH!! We drove all over Cheyenne and found a Wendy's, it was in a gas station but who cares right? and I enjoyed every bite of my baconator and my frosty!! Yeah for Wendy's!! (Yeah we don't eat a lot of fast food anymore..... there isn't much to choose from in Torrington)
