San Diego

I know I havn't written in a while, but I am in San Diego enjoying time with my family and some amazing friends. I need to post some pictures but will be doing that when I get home.

I was able to spend about 2 weeks with my sister, Kathy and her 5 kids. She is so organized with what they are doing. She is gone now and I am trying to squeeze in my visiting so I don't miss anyone.

I will be home next month. I have been gone for the whole month and I am missing my hubby. He is such a amazing man. I can't wait to see him, but still trying to enjoy my time here. I will write more, with pictures when I get home.

Initiation

This morning I woke up and took my dogs out for their morning tinkle, to find my car cling wraped. (cant spell suran wrap LOL) I sat there and had to chuckle at how many times I went TP'ing with my mom as the get-a-way driver. It was always in good fun. I thought wow the Young Women have gotten creative. A few seconds later, Sariah comes out with sissors in hand and proceeds to cut the cling wrap off of my car, (so I didn't get a pict) I had to go downstairs for something and found that whomever did this deed had also wrapped my husbands car. I thought, oh no he must have been late for work this morning cleaning it up. Then, I found "the note"...... It was in BIG, BRIGHT PINK paper. It said "Welcome to Wyoming" and in little print in the corner it read "love the 2nd shift" Oh so now I know the culperate of the whole surran...... I mean cling wrap incident...... friends at Tommy's work, hm..... only one of them know where we live........ that narrows it down quite a bit, hehe. When he returned from work, he had found out who had played the joke on him, and he said that he has been playing pranks on them for a while now and that he had it comming to him..... Oh well, it was still all in good fun :)

Sariahs wagon

For Valentines Day, Sariah had to make a Covered Wagon. This is what she came up with. I helped her (a little) but for the most part she did it herself.

Baby Shower invites

I am very happy with the way these turned out. I would have like to use a different stamp set, but this was all I had at the time :)

Fort Laramie

The Girls learned a lot of history about Ft. Laramie

These are the old ruins that was there. Ft Laramie was built in the 1800's and housed many soldiers.
This used to be the bridge that everyone crossed. Somebody told me that this bridge was brought over on covered wagons from the east coast and put up here.
We were sopost to go to Mt. Rushmore, but due to that days events, we settled for going to see Ft. Laramie (it is closer to us than Mt. Rushmore).
We enjoyed looking and reading about the different events that happen there. It is a well preserved National Park.

Stars

Sunday night I went to take the dogs out. I looked up at the dark sky and saw all the stars and was thinking. I am so lucky to live in this Country and in this place. I looked down the street and heard the wind blowing through the trees. What I didn't hear was yelling, cars honking, people, and noise. I just heard earth and nature. When I looked into the sky, I saw STARS, bright and beautiful STARS. I didn't see smog, polution, you get my point right?!?! I thought how lucky I am to live here, where I am. I was also thinking about Memorial Day and all of those who went before us. How they paved the way for us to live here in this beautiful Country. I am really lucky to have such a great life and family. They are always there to help and support me. I was happy to enjoy such a beautiful day, because on Monday, it rainned :P
